Our Story
In 2019, a passionate and determined group of individuals came together with a shared vision: to establish Montgomery County’s very first Pride organization. Fueled by a commitment to advocacy, representation, and inclusivity, they dedicated their time and efforts to creating a safe and supportive space for the local LGBTQ+ community. Through perseverance and unwavering dedication, this group officially founded Crawfordsville Pride, securing its status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
From its inception, Crawfordsville Pride has relied on the strength and support of the community, working tirelessly to promote equality, foster inclusivity, and build meaningful connections. Through outreach, education, and celebration, the organization continues to pave the way for a future where everyone, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, feels seen, heard, and valued.
